Look What Tracy Did

With a Faux Drunkard's Path Block


















Tracy suggested that a Drunkard's Path block could be made using straight lines instead of curves. I played with that idea in my post yesterday. Tracy played with it too and created the quilt design above, using her Faux Drunkard's Path block and a Snowball block.

In case you are having trouble finding the Snowball blocks and the  Faux Drunkard's Path blocks, I've broken down the basic design so that they are easier to spot. 


Tracy could have repeated her basic design units like this.

But she didn't.


She staggered them. And the result is much more effective. I'm impressed.
