Playing with Quilting

Log Cabin Block  (See also: 4 February 2010)

Log Cabin blocks are very versatile. They can be used in a variety of settings to make many different and interesting patterns.

When Log Cabin blocks are arranged so that dark meets dark and white meets white continuous bands of color are formed.

I've already designed some quilting for Log cabin blocks.
What if I arrange those blocks so that they form bands?

See 2 February 2010 for an alternate arrangement.

I like these all three of them are very decorative.

When it comes to turning corners, the 1st and 3rd are a little more graceful than the 2nd one.
